About Love, Faith & Action Outreach

Love, Faith & Action Outreach (LFAO) is a Kingdom minded organization made up of generous individuals who are passionate about sharing the love of Christ with those in need. Our team has a deep love for God and a genuine concern for those around them.

This ministry was founded on the principles of faith, family, and friendship, with the goal of reaching out to the marginalized and forgotten in our communities.

Our mission is rooted in Romans 12:9-13 (NLT), which calls us to love sincerely, hate what is evil, cling to what is good, be devoted to one another in love, honor one another above ourselves, never lacking in zeal, serving the Lord with fervor and always being willing to practice hospitality.

We are committed to living out these values through action by offering a helping hand to those in need and spreading hope and the message of Christ to whomever we encounter. Love, Faith & Action Outreach is more than just a ministry; it is a beacon of light and love for those who are lost and hurting.

Monica McGowan, the founder of LFAO, and board member Michele Lucas met in El Paso, Texas. As two people who have a passion for giving, it was easy for them to partner. Together with their family, friends and generous supporters, they dedicated themselves to serving the communities in El Paso and nearby areas.

Following God's leading, Monica and her family moved to South Carolina in 2022, where they continued their philanthropic work in different cities and neighborhoods.

The establishment of LFAO was inspired by Michele's family ministry, Cathy Cares, which began in honor of Michele's Aunt Cathy who also had a heart for giving. Cathy Cares and LFAO are sister organizations that will continue to work together to help those in need of support.
